The Roba and Family washing station was established in 2011 as a family venture, along with a 40-hectare plantation (about 99 acres). To create this natural-style coffee, red cherry is laid out and dried on raised beds. Currently, the station has 250 beds, covered in mess wire; next year, the goal is to increase to 280 beds. The station also has a private warehouse that’s rented out, and still another goal is to someday establish a mill as well. The area where this coffee was grown boasts large areas of forest cover, as well as rainforests, which form the overhead cover for the majority of coffee farms here.
