How should I store my coffee to keep it fresh?
Keep your coffee sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. An airtight container works great, but the original bag is also designed to help protect freshness when sealed well.
For the best cup, we recommend grinding right before brewing and enjoying your coffee within 6 weeks of opening.
What’s the best grind size?
Choose the grind that matches how you brew:
Whole Bean
Best if you grind fresh at home.
Ground for Drip
Great for most automatic coffee makers.
Ground for Pour Over
A medium grind for brewers like a V60, Chemex, or Kalita.
Ground for Espresso
A finer grind for home espresso machines.

What’s the best way to brew this coffee?
A great starting point for most home brewing is a medium grind, filtered water, and a ratio around1 part coffee to 15–18 parts water. Counter Culture gives the same general brew ratio range and recommends water between195º and 205ºF.
If your coffee tastes bitter or heavy, try grinding a little coarser. If it tastes thin, sour, or weak, try grinding a little finer. Tiny adjustments can make a big difference.
