Ceiba is from Huehuetenango, Guatemala, named after the country’s national tree. In early Mayan culture, the ceiba symbolized the connection between land and sky, which feels fitting for a coffee grown high in the mountains by families deeply rooted to their land.
This coffee comes from a small community of producers, many farming just a few hundred trees on steep, rugged terrain. Coffee is grown, harvested, and processed at home, often with family members working side by side. High elevations, cool temperatures, and slow fermentations shape a cup that’s layered, expressive, and distinctly Huehue. In the cup, Ceiba is both comforting and lively. It’s the kind of coffee that feels familiar but still offers little moments of surprise.
