Colombia EA Decaf

Colombia is one of the few places in the world able to produce coffee year-round, thanks to its incredible range of elevations, microclimates, and growing regions. With 20+ coffee-producing regions, each area brings its own expression of place. This decaf represents what we look for in every coffee we source: balance, clarity, and approachability, without sacrificing character. It’s a coffee meant to be enjoyed at any hour, offering sweetness and structure that still feels true to origin.

Ethyl Acetate (EA) Decaffeination

This coffee is decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate (EA) process, a naturally derived method commonly made from fermented sugarcane. It’s a gentle approach that helps preserve the coffee’s natural sweetness and origin character. The process begins by lightly steaming the green coffee to open the bean’s structure. The beans are then washed in a water-based solution that selectively removes caffeine before being thoroughly rinsed and dried back to a stable moisture level.

The result is a clean, balanced cup with soft sweetness and clarity. A decaf that’s approachable, easy to work with, and enjoyable at any time of day.
