Acacia Natural is named after Ethiopia’s national tree and grown by smallholder farmers across the Guji region, where coffee has been part of daily life for generations. Farmers harvest selectively, returning to the same trees every week to pick only cherries at peak ripeness. After harvest, the coffee is laid out on raised beds and dried slowly in the sun, turned often to develop sweetness and depth. This natural process is difficult and time-consuming, but when successfully conducted it produces a cup that carries all the hallmarks of classic Ethiopian coffee. Acacia serves as a reminder of why Ethiopia is known as the birthplace of coffee.
