For years, farmers here lacked consistent support and stability. In 2017, Rwanda Trading Company stepped in, bringing long-term investment and creating a renewed sense of direction to the community.

Since then, Mwito has become a place of steady growth, not just in coffee quality, but in the lives connected to it. From agronomy training to building a kindergarten for farmers’ families, the focus here goes well beyond the harvest.

This Red Bourbon lot is naturally processed, with cherries dried on raised beds for nearly two weeks. That slow drying brings out a deep, fruit-driven sweetness while keeping the cup balanced and elegant. The result is rich and comforting with a soft floral finish.
